The role of the information retrieval languages in creating an image of document and indexing documents on the Agro-Industrial Complex (AIC) economy is disclosed. The main functions of the thesaurus are identified. The issues of displaying terminology on agrarian economy in the CSAL information retrieval thesaurus are considered. The description of the terminological area “AIC economy” is given. The stages of processing new economic terms to be included into the thesaurus are described.
