New trends of the early XX century Russian culture in the Russian ballet

The main point of this article is to find out what contribution ballet trends of the early XX century made to the development of modern methodological conception and how they helped to make this art a complex cultural phenomenon. Thanks to such a significant landmark of Russian culture as the early XX century Russian ballets, now this genre is considered to be a social phenomenon, an effective way to form aesthetic concepts, a genre of art with a special artistic vision of the world. We admit that during the analyzed period the idea of ballet as a synthetic art was finally formed and accepted. Despite the unfavourable political and economic situation, there were considerable achievements in the genre of ballet theatre, which later formed the basis of the conception of modern ballet.
