A reflection of time and space in the social and cultural worlds of urban architecture

The article discusses several issues related to the comprehension of the spatial and temporal characteristics of the urban environment. The study defines the specific features of space and time expressed by architecture as a special form of interaction between historically different worlds of a man and society which is always based on the human worldview. The city is a space with a complex structure because it includes either utilitarian dwellings and outbuildings or places of worship, public space (for example, theatres, libraries, sports facilities). All these architectural sites often reflect different periods combined by urban unity. The temporal and spatial environment of a city has always been and continues to be a considerable number of worlds holding and demonstrating many cultural information fields represented in the special forms of space and time.
