This article provides information about the responsibility for violation of the protection of state secrets. This is criminal, administrative, civil and disciplinary responsibility. Specific articles of the criminal code, provision of the Law of the Russian Federation of 21.07.1993 N 5485-I “About the state Secret” are resulted. It also shows who controls the protection of state secrets in the Russian Federation.
