Responsibility for intra-family crimes in the Russian Federation and foreign countries

Purpose: To address issues related to the problem of domestic violence itself. The article will consider what domestic violence is, whether it is worth keeping a family between the victim and the «rapist» or whether such marriages should be dissolved, what is the purpose of the Federal Law No. 1183390-6 «On the prevention of domestic violence», which is going to be adopted in the Russian Federation , and what experience do other countries have in this matter, in particular, the USA, France, Germany Methodology: The study used a comparative analysis of the crimes of the Russian Federation on the example of other countries. Results: On the basis of this study, the author concluded that the law must approve the law on domestic violence, especially for those people who actually faced this problem. Novelty/originality/value: In every family there are different kinds of disagreements, but not in every family these disagreements escalate to physical, mental or sexual abuse. From time immemorial, this topic has been relevant, and this problem is constantly raised. People from different countries constantly talk about the urgency of this problem and demand protection from this situation.
