The responsiveness of spring soft wheat varieties to growing conditions during the formation of protein in the grain is shown. The research was conducted in 3 ecologically different zones of the Altai Territory in 2014-2017. The objects of the study are 11 varieties of spring wheat of an average early ripening period. It was revealed that the conditions of the Biysk-Chumysh zone are more favorable for the formation of protein in grain. The maximum effect - 28.2% on the studied trait is exerted by the interaction of factors: year, zone and variety. Varieties showed great responsiveness: Altai 110, Altai 75, OmGAU 90.
