Overtourism: the local problems and global solutions

The article deals with the main causes and consequences of the emergence and development of overturism in the world. The article has a clear structure and consists of three main sections, which are set out in accordance with the concept of solving the problems of overturism for both the local population and the traveler in popular tourist destinations. The article highlights the causes of overturism and gives several definitions of this concept. The authors noted that overtourism is not a problem of one entity, and all participants in the tourism business. The article analyzes about ten examples of popular tourist cities in which this problem is most acute. Also, in accordance with the topic of the article, in the second section, the authors provide several solutions to the problem of overturism by different cities.
