Signification of modernization in the field of social sciences, the field of politics and the field of journalism

Based on the methodology proposed by P. Bourdieu, the analysis in the fields of modernization signification of social sciences, politics and journalism in Russia has been carried out. Three options for the modernization of signification, i.e. spiritual and moral improvement, institutional changes, transition from traditional to modern society have been identified.
