Ozonized water in modern poultry farming

The article discusses the current problem of water consumption and water treatment in modern Russian poultry farming, the scale of which has grown significantly. Based on the analysis of the literature, three key areas of water use in this industry are identified: poultry watering, technological processes of meat processing and waste transportation. It is emphasized that water intake is often carried out from open sources, which makes it difficult to achieve water compliance with strict drinking standards required at all production stages. Ozonation technology is proposed as an effective solution to the problems of disinfection and purification of water. The article proves the advantages of this technology. The high efficiency of the ozonation process is noted, as well as its safety, quality, versatility, technological feasibility, and environmental friendliness. Based on the analysis of the regulatory framework and scientific research, the article concludes that the introduction of ozonation can comprehensively improve the epizootic situation, the quality of finished products, the reliability of equipment and the efficiency of the use of water resources in poultry farms.
