P. A, Kuratov. Logging settlements of the Upper and Middle Sysola based on the materials of the 1964 ethnographic expedition

A previously unpublished report by a junior researcher at the Department of Ethnography and Archeology of the Komi Branch, USSR Academy of Sciences, on the results of his work in the 1964 ethnographic expedition in the territory of modern Koigorodsky and Sysolsky regions of the Komi ASSR is published. The report shows the formation of a network of settlements and logging personnel, some aspects of industrial, family and social life, material and spiritual culture.
