Article presents palynological analysis of pollen of Syringa josikaea in the Arctic climate. The palynological analysis conducted from five pilot sites in the city revealed 14 teratomas types of pollen grains. This is significantly large number than reported for other regions of Russia. The high morphological variability of pollen is manifested in the formation of a large number of teratomas. The level of developmental disorders ranges from 7% to 36%, indicating the violations of microsporogenesis under the harsh environmental conditions.
