Nature sanctuary "The juniper grove": junipers state, the lichens

Survey of the largest, unique population of junipers for the territory of Moscow oblast showed that it is in depression. Among junipers the dead wood prevails (to 50%), it is a lot of weakened, strongly weakened and drying out trunks. The light green or glaucous, dim needles, local damages of trunks, the drying-out branches are characteristic of such junipers. Process of junipers loss is influenced by a complex of factors, both natural, and anthropogenous: the amplified shadowing from the expanding wood, a sleet, surface and intra soil sinks from a row of the located garden associations and, as showed the analysis, of specific composition of lichens, frequencies of their occurrence and projective the covering, air pollution. For saving population of junipers the complex of the actions directed to lighting of the territory and improving of a supply of roots of a juniper is offered.
