Monuments to antiquity as heritage of Islam in the modern territory of Bashkortostan

Article is devoted to the analysis of the available materials on studying of monuments of antiquity as historical heritage of the Bashkir people and to identification of their role today. On the example of the monuments located in the modern territory of Bashkortostan we can observe arrival and distribution of Islam in the region. Islam has begun to get into the Bashkir society in the ò-XI centuries through Bulgar and Central Asian merchants and also preachers. Distribution of Moslem doctrine was followed by construction of prayful buildings and mausoleums over "graves of Saints"
