This article examines the situation in the global fashion market in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. The factors that led to negative results in various segments of the world fashion market are highlighted. The characteristic features of crisis manifestations in global value chains of the fashion industry are considered. The study of the relationship between changes in consumer behavior and the situation in the global clothing market was carried out. As a result, the special character of the crisis phenomena in the fashion market was noted.
