Paradigm shift main competitive advantages of trade business structures

The article presents a factor-analytic review of the functioning of the trading business structures (TBS) and scientific theories of competition, on the basis of which the author of the hypothesis about the strengthening of the role of intangible capital as a factor allowing to increase the level of competitiveness of the TBS. Identified paradigmatic shift allowed us to extrapolate main competitive advantages of TBS.
