Flowering parameters of phlox by E.D. Kharchenko breeding in the Botanical Garden-Institute of VSUT

The results of the flowering parameters study of 5 phlox varieties in the Botanical Garden-Institute of VSUT (Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El Republic) in 2021 are presented. The 'Tsvet Jablony' is the tallest plant; 'Novinka' and 'Kobzar' have the largest number of inflorescences. The varieties 'Jubilejnyj' and 'Novinka' have the largest flowers. The shorter varieties have larger flowers and small inflorescences. The flowers diameter of all varieties is less than indicated in the variety description.
