Parameters of Discrete Microrelief during its Rolling With an Abrasive Belt

Бесплатный доступ

The study demonstrates the dependence of the surface fraction of micropits, formed by abrasive grains on the surface of an electric motor commutator during rolling with an abrasive belt, on the grit size of the abrasive belt and the number of passes. It was found that an increase in the grit size of the abrasive belt and the number of passes leads to a higher surface fraction of micropits on the commutator. The research results are compared with calculated values previously obtained through mathematical modeling of the micropit formation process using an abrasive belt.
