Parameters of the bank swallow colony from the Kamyshta river valley (Southern Siberia)

A colony of the swallow Riparia ssp. located in the Kamyshta River valley (South Siberia) is described. As of spring 2016, there were 68 dens in it. Of these, 29 (43%) were classified as intact, and 39 (57%) were semi-destroyed or destroyed almost completely. The length of the cliff section, within the boundaries of which the burrows dug by swallows were located, was about 15 m, and its height varied from 3.5 to 5.5 m.
