Parks and squares: a key element of the comfort of the urban environment and its impact on the life of Kazan residents

The article highlights the main aspects of the influence of parks and squares on the comfort of the urban environment. The management of green spaces implemented today in the city of Kazan is characterized. The results of the author's sociological survey of Kazan youth (n = 492) on the state of parks and squares of the city are analyzed. The successful experience of forming a public space on the territory of Lake Kaban is described. Priority directions for the development of parks and squares in the city of Kazan have been identified to form a comfortable urban environment.
