Parties being agents and bearers of political culture

This paper presents a concept of the agent of political culture, bearers of that culture are specified, and the position of an agent of political culture is determined. The authors considered an ideology function the parties performed, and demonstrated differences of vision of fundamental values and other structural elements of political culture the agents have shown. The study explored the importance of parties as spokespersons and bearers of political culture. The paper pointed out a stabilizing part of traditional values in Russian life. Relevant conclusions have been made upon the subject-matter.
