Parties at the «market of political services»: the theory of rational choice in action

The article gives an analysis of the main factors which influence the formation of parties and party systems from the point of view of abstract economic model. It gives definition of the main subjects of this economic model, their features, functions and goals. It also examines interaction of these subjects. And on the basis of it classification ofparty systems is given.
