On October 9, 2023, the Krasnodar Territory celebrates a jubilee date - the 80th anniversary of the cleansing of the Kuban from the German fascist troops. The difficult period of enemy occupation brought incalculable troubles. Nevertheless, the population of the Kuban resisted, which manifested itself in the form of an organized partisan movement. The formed partisan detachments contributed to the common cause of the Victory. The contribution was different, as was the combat activity, and the very fate of the partisan detachments. The partisan movement in the Kuban, as well as throughout the country, experienced all sorts of difficulties. The reason for this was the organizational problems generated by the unexpected occupation, poor logistics and supplies of the detachments. Their activities were also complicated by the collaborationism of a part of the population (insignificant), who began to cooperate with the invaders. In many failures, the poor selection of the majority of the commanders of the partisan detachments, who had no experience in partisan struggle, as well as military experience in general, played a role. The article is devoted to the short combat path of the partisan detachment of the Ryazan region of the Krasnodar Territory, the chronicle of its not entirely successful combat activity.
