Easter and May Day: opposition of the old and the new lifestyles in Kuban in the 1920-1930-s

The article deals with the problem of adoption of Soviet celebrations in the context of the struggle against religious holidays in the territory of Kuban. On the basis of the analysis the author distinguishes the main forms of exclusion of Easter during the considered period. The substantial characteristic of each form is given.
