Patent activity as a factor of development of entrepreneurship

One of the main indicators characterizing innovation activity in the regions is patent activity. Foreign authors singled out human capital as one of the factors affecting the patent activity of regions. However, in Russia there is a significant differentiation between regions on patent activity. The article examines the level of patent activity in the regions of the Russian Federation, as well as the particular impact of entrepreneurship on the quality of patent applications.
