Pathogenetic mechanisms of chronic gastroduodenitis caused by drinking water consumption with a high content of hyperchlorination products (chloroform), and manganese have been studied. It was found that the disease clinical manifestation is associated with the development of autonomic dysfunction by parasympathetic type, reactive changes of the liver tissue, biliary dysfunction by hy-pokinetic type, stomach and duodenum dysmotility by hyperkinetic variant on the background of oxidative stress and reducing non-specific resistance in the gastrointestinal tract mucosa. Pathogenetic patterns of chronic gastroduodenitis [Hp-], associated with exposure to hyperchlorination products (chloroform) and manganese determine pathomorphosis disease with the development of atrophic/subatrophic mucosa changes in the upper gastrointestinal tract.
