We examined 489 patients with postmastectomy syndrome. We discovered that most of patients (94%) who have undergone radical treatment due to breast cancer suffered from functional biomechanical and neurovascular disorders. Patients suffered from regional postural imbalance of muscles of cervical-brachial region, functional blocks of intervertebral joints in cervical and thoracic parts of spinal cord and atypical motor pattern of «shoulder abduction» and «shoulder flection». Instrumental diagnostic revealed disturbances of central and peripheral haemodynamics, disorders of nervous impulse passage, and abnormalities of temperature distribution on the side of mastectomy. We’ve found the high effectiveness of manual therapy in complex rehabilitation of patients with postmastectomy syndrome.
