Frequency of visceral pathology in injured during the second Chechen campaign, comparable with the data on the war in Vietnam and Afghanistan. The most common pathology of the wounded and sick were pneumonia, pneumonitis. Acute gastric ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcer diagnosed in 3-5% of the wounded. Lethal ulcerative gastrointestinal bleeding had 3,4% of deaths, an average of 11.3 days after the injury. Bruises infarction was diagnosed in 10% of the wounded. Rare cardiac complication is damage to the valvular apparatus in wounds of the chest as a result of hydrodynamic shock.
