Patriotic upbringing as a factor of reducing social tension in conditions of socio-economic instability

The article examines the issue related to the process of patriotic upbringing in conditions of socio-economic instability as a factor of reducing social tension. The authors study the concept of patriotic upbringing, its main determinants and properties. The paper describes the mechanism of the introduction of patriotic upbringing, and identifies current trends that influence this phenomenon. The paper considers an aspect related to the concept of social tension, the factors of the formation of this phenomenon and the influence of this concept on socio-economic processes. Factors that influence social tension can be combined into two large groups: direct and indirect impact. The authors note the importance of patriotic upbringing in the context of reducing social tension because in Russia patriotism strongly depends on the effectiveness of the social state policy. As a result, the patriotic upbringing of the population acts as one of the elements contributing to the containment of negative attitudes and expectations. In the final part of the work, the authors give recommendations on improving the effectiveness of patriotic upbringing for a positive impact on the level of social tension.
