Patriotic upbringing in law machinery: current state and factors of influence

The current state and outlooks of heroic-patriotic upbringing of Russian militiamen are analyzed in the article written by the author from Chelyabinsk. Such personal qualities as heroism and patriotism are peculiar not only to power structures officials, though these features are compulsory for their vocational training. According to Gallup poll, carried out on 29 April 2005 the author reveals a wide range of opinions and problems connected with the forming of professional patriotism of inner affairs department officials. It has been noticed, the standard of patriotism of militiamen exceeds average figures in the country (according to the information of All-Russian center of studying of public opinion). It should be the norm if we take into consideration the specific character of law machinery.
