Patriotic education in the system of state educational policy (analysis of English and polish sources)

The article analyzes the importance of patriotic education in the modern education system, the tasks of education system in the formation of the future citizen of the country. The authors analyze the conditions for the formation of patriotic education as a civic value; they state that patriotism develops a sense of civic identity, human socialization, and security. The article formulates a conclusion about attempts to manipulate the political agenda and values in the system of patriotic education. Using the example of the United States and Poland, the authors analyze the importance of initiatives to support patriotic education in schools and universities. The article highlights the formed attitudes of patriotic education, the importance of school programs in the education of the future patriot.
