Patriotism and patriotic education in system of values of modern Russian youth

The article is devoted to problem of patriotic education of modern youth. The authors consider the role of patriotic education in a modern Russian society. It is marked what to generate a civic stand it is possible only on the basis of taken roots in consciousness of the person of feelings of a duty and the responsibility. It is emphasized, that the important direction in formation of patriotic education of young generation are the creative competitions, the devoted histories of native edge.
