The outcomes of recent academic studies in neurophysiology made it possible to re-evaluate works of the outstanding scientists of the last century: N.A. Bernstein and M. Montessori. The paper considered some aspects of the system of upbringing by M. Montessori that took into account gradual maturing dynamics of the nervous system’ structures in children while ontogenesis.
