In the article the author's attention is focused on the confirmation of the opinion according to which the Chinese painters managed to preserve a reverently enthusiastic sense of the beauty of nature, the harmony of man with it, presenting it to contemporary generations of connoisseurs of oriental fine arts. In their canvases, Chinese artists conveyed interest in various phenomena of human life, events, circumstances that occur to him. It is proved that the artistic culture of ancient and medieval China is peculiar to contain a world of representations, which differs in many respects from those that existed in European countries, and exists according to one's own laws. Features of the development of China's landscape art are revealed in all the beauty of the worldview of its creators. Characterized by the position of researchers, according to which one of the important features that distinguish the Chinese culture of the past, is the continuity of its development and extreme vitality.
