The resolution of two types of combined direction finding systems for point sources of independent noise emissions with non-identical characteristics of reception channels is investigated. The advantages of combining direction finding methods that do not use information about the effective rank of the correlation matrix of the output signals of phased array receiving channels are shown. Practical recommendations are given for the construction of combined direction finding systems based on adaptive grating filters.
