Moving to a new place of residence: the item semantization in modern culture (on materials of the Kola Polar region)

The article is devoted to the study of the meanings and functions of family things in the process of moving to a new place residence of modern citizens of the Kola North. The change of place of residence is always interfaced with the interruption of established life and the habitual placement of things. It is revealed that in the process of moving the subject environment of the family is reorganized and transformed completely or partially that leads to the accelerated change of meaning of its separate elements and change of the status of things.
