Transition of European west from the middle ages to the early modern period (methodological aspect)

An attempt to explain the historic process with the help of modernisation paradigm has been made. Formula for the dependence of modernisation processes on technical infrastructure, information volume and investment policy is presented. Examples for this model application to the humankind technological environment development starting with the Ancient World to the Modern Period are given.
