The re-examination of investment priorities in oil industry

The authors analyse the impact of the October 2011 taxation regime reform in oil production on the investment activities of key participants – vertically integrated oil companies. They describe a shift of priorities in the investment activities of the vertically integrated oil companies stimulated by the “60-66”taxation regime, which was introduced to solve the problems accumulated in the key Russian industry within this decade.
