Performative strategy of “Ode to Beethoven” by O. E. Mandelstam

The author conducts a study of genre invariant odes on the material of one of the poems by Osip Mandelstam. The category of genre is used as an instrument of in-depth reading of a literary text. The paper develops a theoretical conception about the lyric poetry as performative form of artistic writing.
