Бесплатный доступ

The article is devoted to an insufficiently studied problem related to Perm toponymic heritage on the territory of the Arkhangelsk Pomerania. On the basis of etymological analysis, the author proves that in the eastern part of this region, between the lower reaches of the rivers the Northern Dvina and the Mezen, both ancient substrate and quite late Perm toponymic substrate are presented. In the eastern subregion of Arkhangelsk Pomerania the author allocates four Perm toponymic areals, differing in a number of linguistic characteristics. On this basis the issues of chronology of reclamation of the region by Perm population and specificity of historical Russian-Perm interaction are discussed.
