Personification of the museum space of the Altai territory

The article describes the main aspects of the personalization of the Museum space of Altai territory, which evinced in the following forms: creation of memorial museums and the appropriation of personal funds in museums. Special attention is tented to the concept of “biography”, “biographical studies” in their cultural understanding. It is indicated to the formation of a new term “Museum biography”, which is based on appeal in museums and institutions to the materials related to the activities of famous people who have contributed to the development of the cultural and social space of the district, territory, region, country as a whole. The value of personified museum space of Altai territory is the maintenance of cultural and regional identity.
