The article discusses the future development of the oil and gas industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including in Karakalpakstan. The oil and gas complex of Uzbekistan is one of the strategic sectors of the economy, ranks 10th in the world in terms of gas production, the annual oil production is about 5 million tons.
