Perspective varieties of paslene crops for Western Siberia

The article presents the economic and biological characteristics of new varieties of nightshade crops created for cultivation in Western Siberia. The objects of research are the tomato variety Amethyst and the eggplant variety Chestuchok. A description of the created varieties is given in detail, the results of research work with new varieties for 2017-2019, carried out by the laboratory of solanaceous crops ZSOOS - a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution FNTSO, are summarized.
