Prospects for the activities of Russian exporters in foreign markets

The article deals with the export potential of the Russian Federation. Western sanctions and the deterioration of foreign policy relations accelerated the development of the national export support system in Russia, stimulated the geographical diversification of exports with a focus on Asian countries and other emerging markets, and stimulated the formation of industries with export potential within the framework of import substitution policy. Fuel and energy products still predominate in the basis of exports. But there are also changes, so in the future, a significant part of exports will be agricultural products. China is becoming the largest export market for Russian companies.
