The article focuses on the role and prospects for the formation and development of the southern transport corridor in increasing the international geo-economic and geopolitical potential of Uzbekistan, as well as in strengthening its international transport image. At the same time, geo-economic, transport and economic opportunities are highlighted, and especially the prospects for the socio-economic development of Uzbekistan in connection with the creation of the southern - Trans-Afghan transport corridor.
