Prospects for state support of agriculture in the Kyrgyz Republic

The article summarizes the main provisions of the agrarian theory, consisting of the economic theory of the characteristics of agriculture and the economic theory of agrarian policy. An assessment is given of the development of agriculture in the Kyrgyz Republic, in the context of the prevalence of small peasant (farmer) households. An analysis of the level of state support for agricultural production for 2020-2024 was conducted and a positive increase was found as the country's economy grows. Using the example of developed countries, the need for state support for agriculture is substantiated and prospects for increasing the level of state support for agriculture as the country's budget strengthens are proposed.
