Prospects and limitations of distributed energy development in the electric power market of Russia

Development of distributed power generation in Russia reflects the global trend. On the one hand, the distributed power generation reduces consumers' expenses on energy supply, on the other hand, the energy system reduces the network load and power loss. As a result, it increases the reliability of the electric power and energy efficiency of the economy. The article deals with the issues related to the state of the distributed power generation in Russia.
