Prospects and problems of development of the domestic defense-industrial complex in modern conditions

The existence and effective functioning of the defense-industrial complex is not only a guarantee of ensuring a certain level of national security, but also a condition for the development of industrial production. The defense-industrial complex acts as a driver of economic development, a source of hightech dual-use products. History shows that not always the decisions taken at the state level, strengthened the position of the domestic defense industry. Current conditions are characterized on the one hand a substantial increase in the state defense order, the other - the existence of a set ofproblems and contradictions, inhibiting further innovative development of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Russia.
