There are many ways in which financial technologies can make life easier, or in some countries already make life easier. It is believed that a new financial system will be formed in the next decade, and all participants in this system should work to make it fair, safe and efficient for society as a whole. The article grouped the most promising innovative solutions in the financial sector. We have covered innovations in self-service, contactless payment, biometric authentication, fully digital banking business models, machine learning and artificial intelligence, green banking and blockchain. In addition, we have characterized the threats of the development of digital financial technologies in the field of cybersecurity, privacy and fraud.
