Prospects for the use of xylotrophic fungi in the bioconversion of cellulose-containing substrates

It was found that the use of xylotrophic macromycetes is more efficient in processing waste into feed products produced in the agricultural sector of Azerbaijan. This is due to a deeper conversion of substrates, their enrichment with proteins and other biologically active substances. It was determined that among the studied strains, Bjerkandera adusta D5, Cerrena unicolor S4, and Pleurotus ostreatus F6, are characterized by high rates for efficient microbiological conversion.
