Deciduous-spruce stands of Southern Karelia – prospects of use

The growth of spruce during 25 year after the cutting of deciduous layer in two-story deciduous-spruce stands of different age was investigated. The information about dynamic of formed spruce stands (diameter, height, density, volume) are submitted. The resources of deciduous-spruce stands and their potential for receiving of spruce wood for pulp-paper industry are estimated.
